Description
My client, a Fintech who is disrupting the lending industry, is seeking a talented Support Ticket Owner to prioritise the work of their 2nd and 3rd line support team. This is a prioritisation, process and stakeholder management role and NOT a technical role, although the ability to converse with the development team at a high level is required.

They are in the early stages of an Agile transformation, where frequent communication and collaboration between technology and the business is at the core of their delivery approach. As a Support Ticket Owner, you will be the face of the technical support team, prioritising tickets, liaising with internal stakeholders and colleagues and flagging development concerns to ensure the timely and satisfactory resolution of technical issues.

Salary to £50k with excellent benefits and good work/life balance

Key Responsibilities

  • Triaging technical support ticket requests raised by colleagues for internal and customer-facing issues.
  • Drive the resolution of complex production issues, including escalation and system testing
  • Building relationships with business stakeholders and empathising with their wants and needs
  • Maturing the support processes and improving transparency to business stakeholders
  • Learning and distributing knowledge of platform operations throughout the company
  • Working with the Product Owner for support and sign-off on upcoming features and changes
  • Identifying and reporting on support trends, engaging with the Product Owner to prioritise improvements that would make a better product and reduce support workload
  • Managing the delivery of minor enhancements to the platform
  • Appreciation of technical debt and a strong will to deliver high-quality and maintainable software
  • Communicating progress with stakeholders and getting feedback as early and regularly as possible
  • Managing communication with third-party service providers
  • Working with the Software Engineers and System Administrator to monitor and update our infrastructure hosted with Amazon Web Services

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in prioritising support functions
  • Organised, self-motivated and pro-active
  • Some experience as a Product Owner and/or Support Owner
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent verbal & written communication together with proven experience in stakeholder management and relations
  • Detail-orientated
  • Tenacious in the pursuit of quality and excellence
  • Comfortable participating in technical discussions with developers at a high level
  • Confidence in interact with Senior Management and stakeholders
