Having worked across the recruitment market for many years, we wanted to go the extra mile to deliver a better, more thorough service than many other recruiters provide. A service that is both modern and technology lead, but is easy to use, something that would really take the pain out of the process for clients.

 

We work across the Sales and the Information Management space, delivering both Contract and Permanent resource to our clients.

 HOW

With over 30 years’ experience in recruitment we have repeatedly build contract capability from 1 to 50 individuals. Contract Resource requires maximum agility in being able to find individuals who have specific skills to deliver a project.

The Associates have addressed this by building and maintaining specialist groups with specific skill sets. PWC recently found that nearly 50% of HR managers accept that up to 20% of their workforce will be contract staff and this is likely to grow in the future.

Permanent recruitment requires more rigor as the skill set is the baseline, but it’s certainly not the full story. The ability to match personality, capability for growth and behaviours with the client is paramount in finding a long term fit for the business. We have found that the most cost effective way of doing so, is through our retained search model, which ensures the best experience of the hiring process is achieved, for both client and candidate.

This is backed by a one (1) year free replacement guarantee. Our successful candidates have a 96% retention rate within the first year and 90% for the second year. These are previously unheard of figures.

WHY US …… because we care and are already thinking and conscious of all of the deeper elements around hiring staff, getting the best out of candidates. We look for people that are looking for the same things, share the same values that our client have.

We look to save our clients’ money by providing long term employees, people that are likely to stay with the client not just to deliver a single piece of work but for the long term as they share the same ethics, standards and ethos. Many may grow into other more senior roles, developing their career within the client or pass on the Intellectual Property that they have gained to a wider team. This saves our clients having to spend and re-spend on hiring replacement people. Sometimes this can be “twice an employee’s salary to find and train a replacement” according to the Wall street Journal. Retention is the key to lower recruitment spend and improve ROI, rigor is the key to “getting it right first time”.

The company was started early in 2012 by Howard Longstaff and Graham Bradfield who have a combined recruitment background of over 30 years covering a wide array of disciplines, areas and industry sectors.

Howard Longstaff

Howard is English, but has opened recruitment offices in Los Angeles, New York and New Zealand, working for clients building large teams across multiple locations. These teams have been across an array of sales and technology functions for many different clients from many industry sectors. He has also founded and run a number of boutique consultancy companies in the Information Management space. Out of work he is a keen fly fisherman.

Graham Bradfield

Graham is originally from South Africa and for the last 10 years has focussed on Technology recruitment for clients ranging from fortune 100 to start-up businesses across the UK and Europe. His previous occupational experience spans Sport, Services, Construction and Security. His tenacity to deliver for a client while making a positive difference to someone’s life is central to his success. Passions outside of work includes Cricket and Fishing.

Our clients are not from any specific sector, and the roles we work are not in any specific area or disciple, we treat them all the same either contract or retained.   We have strong insurance in place with Hiscox (£5m Professional Indemnity, Public & Employers) to protect us all and mitigate any risk.
